Esta parte del Marais es más tranquila que la zona de Saint-Paul; los edificios se inclinan ligeramente, los patios permanecen ocultos y se oyen conversaciones en francés antes que en inglés.

El Marché des Enfants Rouges es la referencia, a tres minutos a pie: el mercado cubierto más antiguo de Paris, tras una verja roja en el 39 de la rue de Bretagne.
