Lavie Maison: encantador estudio cerca de Montmartre

Step out onto Rue Guy Môquet and the morning smells like warm bread from the corner boulangerie.

Walk five minutes to the marché des Moines for cheese and flowers, or ride line 13 from Guy Môquet straight up to Montmartre in a handful of stops. Batignolles is the quieter cousin of the postcard arrondissements — and better for it.

Made for two: a couple on a first Paris weekend, or a solo traveller who wants a real quartier instead of a tourist one. What stays with you is the rhythm of the street outside, ordinary and entirely Parisian.

Sal a la calle y estarás en la ladera tras Montmartre, donde el 17e se aquieta hasta volverse algo más doméstico: la panadería de la rue des Moines con su cola a las 8h, la verde fuente Wallace en la place de Lévis, un carnicero con delantal blanco barriendo su tramo de acera antes del bullicio matinal.

Para el mercado, baja por la rue de Lévis un martes o un sábado: un mercado callejero cubierto que alimenta a los Batignolles desde la década de 1840. Compra un pollo asado en el puesto de mitad de calle, una baguette en cualquier panadería que huela bien, y come en la maison.
