Open the shutters and the Jardins du Palais Royal are right there — the gravel paths, the striped Buren columns, the morning joggers cutting between the linden trees.

Slip out the door and you're three minutes from Café Kitsuné under the arcades, ten from the Louvre's pyramid, and a short wander to rue Saint-Honoré for the slow kind of window-shopping.

It suits a couple on a long weekend, or a small family with a little one — the crib is ready. What stays with you is the view from bed: a Palais Royal window, all to yourselves.

Para tomar un café, camina dos minutos hasta Télescope, en la rue Villedo: una sala estrecha, una sola máquina de espresso, clientes habituales que saludan al barista con un gesto. Abrió antes de que a París le importaran los flat whites y aún se siente como el secreto del barrio, aunque este hace tiempo que lo descubrió. Pide el de filtro, tómalo de pie y observa cómo la rue Sainte-Anne despierta a tu alrededor.
