La boulangerie all'angolo sforna una vera baguette tradition, e il tabac di fronte si riempie di uomini in scarpe eleganti che leggono Le Figaro prima di accompagnare i figli a scuola. È la Parigi residenziale, quella che i locali custodiscono gelosamente.

Per il pranzo o un caffè senza fretta, raggiungete a piedi rue de l'Annonciation a Passy — una via di mercato che ha ancora l'aria di un villaggio, con la Boucherie Le Bourdonnec e una manciata di caffè dove i camerieri conoscono i clienti abituali. Ordinate il jambon-beurre e gustatelo su una panchina sopra la Senna. Ecco il quartiere in un pomeriggio.
