Step through the door and the first thing you notice is the quiet — a rare thing for a first-floor apartment two streets from Place des Vosges.
Forty-five square metres, two bedrooms, and a small ritual at the end of each day: the sauna, then the jacuzzi tub. The kitchen is properly kitted out, should you feel like cooking rather than booking another dinner.
Outside, the Marais does what the Marais does. Musée Carnavalet is a five-minute stroll; the falafel queue on rue des Rosiers is longer than you'd expect, and worth it.
Best suited to a couple travelling with friends, or a small family — the sofa bed sleeps two more. Self check-in via keynest, so arrivals are on your schedule. What stays with you is the unwinding: sauna, hot water, silence, repeat.

Positive: The location was great and accessing the property was very straight forward. Negative: We were expecting a higher quality for the amount we paid per night. I had a hot tub on the first night and noticed a lot of brown/black flakes floating around the water after the jets had been on. Mould? Dirt? I'm not sure but no-one had a hot tub after that. Not clean. My son put his pyjamas on top of the cupboards in the bedroom and when he pulled them down, they were covered in thick dust.

My wife and I had an wonderful stay at “Le Marais” thanks to the place We selected to be our home away from home for ten days. The description on the add was right on, the place clean, we enjoyed the sience even Marais being a bubbly neighbourhood. So close to so many good things: the Musée Cognac-Jay, the Musée Carnavalet, also the Picasso. One of my favorite bistrots in Paris in the Bistrot des Vosges, leas than ten minutes walk.

We had a nice 6-night stay at this Lavie Maison apartment. Hosts were friendly and communicative. The location was absolutely perfect, in the heart of the Marais, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. Walkable to all Marais sights and close to several metro lines to explore other parts of Paris. The interior of the apartment was tastefully upgraded. Nicely stocked kitchen, huge bathroom (extra touch with the jacuzzi tub and sauna).
