Varca la soglia e il 9e si dispone intorno a te: la discesa verso Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, una fleuriste che sistema i secchi sul marciapiede, il rombo della linea 12 sotto rue de Châteaudun. Le mattine profumano di burro dalla boulangerie all'angolo e di gasolio dagli scooter accesi davanti al tabac. Verso le undici, le stradine tra Saint-Georges e Pigalle si riempiono di gente che chiaramente ci abita.
