Inside, 41 m² has been quietly reworked around a private wellness corner — a sauna, a jacuzzi, a proper shower. Two bedrooms with real double beds, air conditioning, and a dining table set for six.

Rue Cler is a five-minute walk: the covered fruit stalls, Café du Marché at the corner, the flower shop that spills onto the pavement. The Eiffel Tower reveals itself at the end of avenue Bosquet, almost by accident.

It suits a family of six, or two couples splitting a long weekend without splitting the bill. What they remember, usually, is the sauna after a day of walking — and how quiet le quartier gets by ten.

Uscite e rue Cler è a tre minuti — la via del mercato dove il pescivendolo dispone il ghiaccio alle 8h e la fromagerie vi consegna un biglietto numerato anche ad agosto. La Tour Eiffel compare ad angoli inaspettati, sopra un tetto, tra due facciate haussmanniane, poi scompare. Targhe diplomatiche costeggiano i marciapiedi. Una donna porta a spasso un cagnolino davanti all'École Militaire, senza fretta.

Per il caffè, Café Central in rue Cler — sedetevi fuori, ordinate un noisette, osservate il quartiere fare la spesa. È il tipo di posto dove il cameriere vi riconosce già dalla seconda mattina e porta il giornale senza che lo chiediate. Più tardi, attraversate verso il Champ-de-Mars al tramonto; i locali portano coperte, una bottiglia, e fingono che la torre non esista.
