The first thing is the warmth — wood, low light, and the quiet hum of a sauna waiting at the back of the flat.
Two bedrooms open onto a single level, with a deep bathtub, a jacuzzi, and a proper cedar sauna for the end of a long walking day. The kitchen is fully kitted out for slow breakfasts and improvised dinners in.
Outside, Chartrons does its thing: antique dealers on rue Notre-Dame, oysters and a glass of white at the Sunday marché des Chartrons, the Garonne a few blocks down.
It suits a family with a little one (a cot is here) or three couples splitting a long weekend. What stays with you is the sauna, after a day spent on cobblestones.

Zamów noisette i canelé przy pobliskiej ladzie — to małe karbowane ciastko o ciemnej, niemal przypalonej skórce i miękkim, rumowym wnętrzu jest jadalnym podpisem Bordeaux, a miejscowi są wybredni co do tego, czyjej wersji ufają.

Really well situated but pretty cheap in fournishing, which makes sens for the price of the Unit. Would recommend for a Positive: It was really well situated and the sauna was lovely. Negative: There was no outdoor space, everything in the space was cheap (cracks in paint, a bit of mold on the cabinets, sofa bed wouldn’t hold, kitchen supplies and kitchenware were really cheap), the hot water would run out before getting the bath half filled, both sinks were broken when we got there (they sen…

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The flat was modern, clean, compact, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. Its location was perfect—easy to find, just a short walk to the tram line, and conveniently close to Bordeaux city centre where there was lots to see and do. The host Gregory was incredibly helpful and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions via text. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Great location - 100 metres to C tram line. Good bakeries and restaurants within 100-300 metres. Safe neighbourhood. Apartment adequate in size for 2 adults & 3 children. No noise issues. Big TVs, good Internet. Ground floor apartment with metal shutters. Only managed to get the air con working once - this would be necessary in hotter temperatures but at 25 Celsius daytime temp it was not essential. Host responsive but not in city at time of our stay.
