The studio runs on the essentials done well: a proper coffee machine, a hob and dishwasher tucked into the kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning when summer turns heavy. Pets welcome, if you let us know in advance.

Outside, le quartier earns its reputation slowly — antique shops along rue Notre-Dame, a glass of white at one of the bars near the Marché des Chartrons, the church spire as your compass home. The tram stops at Camille Godard, two minutes away.

Best for a solo traveller or a couple in Bordeaux for a few days. You'll remember the morning espresso more than the square footage — which is, we think, the point.
