As scooters ziguezagueiam entre os calhaus. Há sempre alguém a repintar uma janela de verde.

O Coquelicot, na rue des Abbesses, é onde a vizinhança faz fila numa manhã de domingo — peça a tartine de abacate com ovo e um noisette, sente-se no banco lá fora e observe o 18.º arrondissement despertar devagar, sem pressa, como sempre fez.
