The first thing you notice is the quiet — rare for a first-floor flat this close to Place des Vosges. Then the sauna in the corner, which is not something you expected in a 45m² Marais apartment.
Two bedrooms, each with a proper double bed, and a sofa bed in the living room for a sixth. The jacuzzi bath and cedar sauna are the real luxuries here, waiting after a long day on foot. The open kitchen handles actual cooking, not just morning coffee.
Musée Carnavalet is a five-minute walk. So is Marché des Enfants Rouges on rue de Bretagne — the oldest covered market in Paris, and still the best lunch in the 3e.
This one suits a family, or two couples splitting the bedrooms for a long weekend. Self check-in via keynest, so arrivals stay easy. What people remember is the sauna — and the silence.

Positive: The location was great and accessing the property was very straight forward. Negative: We were expecting a higher quality for the amount we paid per night. I had a hot tub on the first night and noticed a lot of brown/black flakes floating around the water after the jets had been on. Mould? Dirt? I'm not sure but no-one had a hot tub after that. Not clean. My son put his pyjamas on top of the cupboards in the bedroom and when he pulled them down, they were covered in thick dust.

My wife and I had an wonderful stay at “Le Marais” thanks to the place We selected to be our home away from home for ten days. The description on the add was right on, the place clean, we enjoyed the sience even Marais being a bubbly neighbourhood. So close to so many good things: the Musée Cognac-Jay, the Musée Carnavalet, also the Picasso. One of my favorite bistrots in Paris in the Bistrot des Vosges, leas than ten minutes walk.

We had a nice 6-night stay at this Lavie Maison apartment. Hosts were friendly and communicative. The location was absolutely perfect, in the heart of the Marais, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. Walkable to all Marais sights and close to several metro lines to explore other parts of Paris. The interior of the apartment was tastefully upgraded. Nicely stocked kitchen, huge bathroom (extra touch with the jacuzzi tub and sauna).
