Sized for a family or three couples travelling together. What stays with you is the tower, glimpsed on the walk home — and a long soak afterwards.

Per il mattino, cammina fino a rue Cler — una strada mercato pedonale che ha conservato intatti i suoi macellai, i fromagers e le terrazze dei caffè. Siediti al Café Central, ordina un noisette e una tartine beurrée, e osserva il quartiere fare la spesa come fa da decenni. È la cosa più vicina a un villaggio che Parigi abbia da offrire, a cinque minuti dalla maison.
