Best for a solo traveller or a couple who want a base rather than a stage set — somewhere to drop bags, brew a proper coffee, and slip back into le quartier. You'll remember how easily it fit.

La mattina, andate al marché Navier il martedì o il venerdì — tre isolati di produttori sotto la sopraelevata, ostriche aperte al momento, un arrostiere le cui patate riposano sotto i polli per tutta la mattina. Fermatevi dopo per un caffè al Le Chalet des Îles Épinettes in rue Pouchet, dove la terrazza prende il sole e il patron chiama ancora il vostro ordine da un capo all'altro della sala.
