Step out and you're minutes from the Marché des Chartrons on Sunday mornings — oysters, cheese, the Garonne glinting at the end of the street. The wine museum is around the corner.

Built for one traveller or two, on a long weekend or a slow month. What stays with you is the neighbourhood itself — antiquaires, cafés, a quartier that still feels like Bordeaux belongs to the Bordelais.

Arrivate presto, prima che la folla da Saint-Louis invada il posto. Se vi fermate una volta sola, scegliete i vicini di Chez Alriq per le ostriche; l'équipe lì sa quale produttore è arrivato quella mattina.
