The first thing you notice is the quiet — a ground-floor flat set back from the Chartrons bustle, with the sauna door just visible from the entry.
Two bedrooms, a deep jacuzzi bath, and a proper sauna for unwinding après-balade. The kitchen is fully kitted; everything sits on one level, which makes the place easier than most.
Step outside and you're a few minutes from the marché des Chartrons on Sunday mornings — oysters, white wine, the slow ritual of it. The quais along the Garonne are a short walk east.
Built for a family or two couples travelling together, with a cot on hand for the smallest guest. What stays with you is the bath at the end of a long Bordeaux day.
Sortez et les façades en pierre calcaire captent la lumière différemment selon l'heure — or doux à 8h, presque blanches à midi. Le trottoir est large ici, les trams glissent sans un bruit sur la rue Sainte-Catherine, et l'odeur qui s'échappe de la boulangerie un peu plus loin (cannelés, beurre, une pointe de sucre brûlé) a tendance à vous suivre sur une demi-rue.
Pour un vrai café, marchez jusqu'à la Place du Parlement et trouvez une table à l'un des cafés qui entourent la fontaine. Commandez une noisette et un cannelé au comptoir voisin — ce petit gâteau cannelé à la croûte sombre, presque brûlée, et au cœur fondant parfumé au rhum est la signature gourmande de Bordeaux, et les habitants ont leurs adresses de confiance.

Really well situated but pretty cheap in fournishing, which makes sens for the price of the Unit. Would recommend for a Positive: It was really well situated and the sauna was lovely. Negative: There was no outdoor space, everything in the space was cheap (cracks in paint, a bit of mold on the cabinets, sofa bed wouldn’t hold, kitchen supplies and kitchenware were really cheap), the hot water would run out before getting the bath half filled, both sinks were broken when we got there (they sen…

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The flat was modern, clean, compact, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. Its location was perfect—easy to find, just a short walk to the tram line, and conveniently close to Bordeaux city centre where there was lots to see and do. The host Gregory was incredibly helpful and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions via text. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Great location - 100 metres to C tram line. Good bakeries and restaurants within 100-300 metres. Safe neighbourhood. Apartment adequate in size for 2 adults & 3 children. No noise issues. Big TVs, good Internet. Ground floor apartment with metal shutters. Only managed to get the air con working once - this would be necessary in hotter temperatures but at 25 Celsius daytime temp it was not essential. Host responsive but not in city at time of our stay.
