The first thing you notice is the water — a whirlpool tub tucked into the bathroom, the kind of detail you don't expect on a ground floor in the 18e.

It fits a couple, or a small family with a crib in the corner. What stays with you is the walk home after dinner — quiet streets, your own key in the door, the tub waiting.
