Rue de Javel wakes up slowly. A bakery two doors down, the clatter of a shutter lifting, and the Eiffel Tower catching light somewhere just past the rooftops.

Forty-five square metres, done simply: a double bed, a sofa bed for two more, a proper kitchen with a real oven and a dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer for the longer stays. Self check-in, so you arrive on your own clock.

The quartier is quietly local — Beaugrenelle for the shopping, Parc André Citroën for the running, and the little cafés along Rue Saint-Charles for the mornings you don't feel like going far. Line 10 at Javel takes you anywhere.

Best for a family of four or two couples sharing a long Paris weekend. What stays with you: walking home along the Seine, the Tower lit up, ten minutes to the door.

Если хочется настоящего утра, отправляйтесь на рынок Grenelle под эстакадой метро на boulevard de Grenelle (по средам и воскресеньям). Это рынок, на который ходят сами парижане: к десяти утра уже вращаются куры-гриль на вертеле, рыбник разделает улов по просьбе, а у конца Dupleix — ливанский прилавок с лучшим соотношением фалафеля к евро во всём округе.
