The studio keeps it tight and considered: a proper double bed, a small kitchen with hob and dishwasher, and a coffee machine that earns its place before you've fully opened your eyes. Wifi is quick. The AC works.

Step out and you're in Chartrons — old wine warehouses turned antique shops, the Marché des Chartrons spilling onto the quai on Sunday mornings. Tram C drops you at Camille Godard, two minutes from the door.

It's a studio for one, or for a couple travelling light. What you'll remember is the rhythm of the quartier — slow coffees, a wander along the Garonne, l'équipe a message away if you need a dinner reservation.
