The 40 m² opens into two bedrooms and a bathroom built around a jacuzzi tub and a sauna. Air conditioning throughout, a proper kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine, wine glasses in the cupboard for later.

The Carré d'Or is Nice's shopping quarter — Rue Paradis for the boutiques, a five-minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the pebbles of the Baie des Anges. Duck into Cave de la Tour on Rue Pairolière for a glass before dinner.

Sleeps six across two rooms, and pets are welcome. A couple gets the sauna to themselves; a family or group of friends gets a quiet base in the middle of everything. Note: the living room faces the road, so expect a little street life through the window.
