The sauna is behind a door you might mistake for a wardrobe. That's the first surprise of forty-five square metres in the Marais.
Two bedrooms, a sofa bed, and a jacuzzi tub for the end of long walking days. The open kitchen handles actual cooking — oven, dishwasher, wine glasses lined up on the shelf.
Rue des Francs-Bourgeois is around the corner, the Musée Carnavalet a few minutes further. Coffee at Boot Café on rue du Pont aux Choux, if you can find a seat.
Built for six — a family, or two couples sharing a long weekend. What stays with you is the quiet of the cour after a day in the noise of Paris, and the sauna, again, at midnight.

We had a wonderful 8-day stay at this lovely apartment in a really superb Marais spot -- on a quiet street but in the heart of a lively and fascinating part of the city. Jacques was an exceptional communicator and without fail Jacques responded quickly and helpfully. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived, and the main appliances we used -- the washing machine and the hot tub, worked flawlessly.

Positive: The location was great and accessing the property was very straight forward. Negative: We were expecting a higher quality for the amount we paid per night. I had a hot tub on the first night and noticed a lot of brown/black flakes floating around the water after the jets had been on. Mould? Dirt? I'm not sure but no-one had a hot tub after that. Not clean. My son put his pyjamas on top of the cupboards in the bedroom and when he pulled them down, they were covered in thick dust.

We had a nice 6-night stay at this Lavie Maison apartment. Hosts were friendly and communicative. The location was absolutely perfect, in the heart of the Marais, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. Walkable to all Marais sights and close to several metro lines to explore other parts of Paris. The interior of the apartment was tastefully upgraded. Nicely stocked kitchen, huge bathroom (extra touch with the jacuzzi tub and sauna).
