Twelve square metres, ground floor, a door that opens straight onto a Marais side street. You hear the quartier before you see it — scooters, shutters, someone calling out across the road.
Inside, every centimetre earns its place. A sofa bed unfolds for the night, the kitchenette handles a proper dinner, and the TV pulls in international channels for the slow mornings.
Walk five minutes and you're at Marché des Enfants Rouges, the oldest covered market in Paris, where lunch means Moroccan tagine eaten standing up. The Picasso museum sits a few streets over, between rue Vieille du Temple and its parade of cafés.
Best for a couple or a solo traveller who wants to live à la parisienne for a few days — keys in a lockbox, l'équipe a message away, and the Marais doing the rest.
走出门外，清晨从一条窄巷开始：摩托车在rue des Rosiers间穿行，falafel店的卷帘还没拉起，Sacha Finkelsztajn门口已经排起了买罂粟籽贝果的队伍。人行道高低不平，两侧的建筑微微前倾，到了上午十点，rue des Francs-Bourgeois转角那间画廊也拉开了铁栅门。
想喝咖啡，步行五分钟到rue de Bretagne上的Café Charlot，挑靠窗的第二张小桌坐下——再穿过去走进Marché des Enfants Rouges，这是Paris最古老的室内市场，里面那家摩洛哥摊位的塔吉锅，周六排队也值得等。

Appartamento molto particolare, pulitissimo e con un esterno molto tranquillo. Il monolocale è singolare per la disposizione dell’arredo, in pochissimo spazio c’è tutto il necessario per passare alcuni giorni in tutta serenità. In due più il cane siamo riusciti a gestire gli spazi, anche la notte, smontando tavolo e sedie e preparando il divano letto comodissimo.

The apartment is in a great location, close to the Seine river (an 8 minute walk). We ended up just walking to most of the nearby attractions along the river and enjoyed the atmosphere of the city. We felt very safe in the apartment, not just because the district is one of the safest in Paris, but because there were 3 different locked doors between us and the street, and all the windows are facing the private courtyard.

Jacques place was great and easy to check in with clear instructions. The area is save and have a lot of restaurants and bar by walking distance. Very LGTB friendly and great hospitality there is always a lot of things that you can do. The place is good for one or two nights as the bed is a sofa so it might be hard to rest or sleep on but for us was good as we only stayed for two nights. Also once you open the sofa there is not too much space to move around.
