Twelve square metres, a mezzanine tucked under the ceiling, and morning light filtering through opaque window film while Paris wakes up outside.

The kitchenette is fully kitted — oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, wine glasses on the shelf. Upstairs, the bed sits in its own low-slung perch (90cm of headroom — a perch, not a suite). Self check-in, your own private entrance.

You're a few streets from Opéra Garnier and a steeper walk up to Pigalle and La Cigale. The 9e rewards wandering: zinc-counter cafés, the covered passages, a boulangerie queue forming by 8am.

Best for a solo traveller or a close couple who'd rather spend their evenings at a wine bar around the corner than in the apartment. What you'll remember: climbing into the mezzanine after a long Parisian day, the city humming just past the window.

Très petit studio Positive: La situation géographique de ce très petit studio : tout est à 30 minutes à pied et pour ceux qui privilégient les transports, le métro est à moins de 5 minutes. Le quartier est vivant et agréable, beaucoup de restaurants et de commerces de proximité. Negative: Ce qui nous a le plus gêné , c'est le bruit, le studio n'est pas insonorisé, la rue est très passante (accès aux bars et restaurants pour les piétons) et il y a beaucoup de circulation jusqu'à très tard dan…

Jacques’s place was right in Montmartre and very short walking distance from Sacre Coeur. There were also several metro stations very close by as well as many cafes and restaurants. We were not in Paris for long but were very easily able to get to all of the main attractions from this location. It would also have been good if you were looking to have a bit more of a relaxed vacation as well, since it had a sauna and several local establishments very close by.

Very good host! Nice area and cozy apartment (it’s very small tho) but still has everything you need. We had a great time and would defiently come back. For next time it would be nice to be informed at what time someone is coming to clean the apartment since we got woken up quite early and had to leave before the official check out time. All in all this accommodation is definitely recommendable.
