Step through the door and the sauna is the first surprise — cedar-lined, tucked off the bathroom, waiting for the end of a long walking day.
Forty-five square metres arranged with intent: a jacuzzi bathtub, opaque-filtered windows that keep the street at arm's length, and a sofa bed in the living room that opens the space to nine. Air conditioning in summer, a proper kitchen for the mornings you'd rather stay in.
You're a few minutes from Rue Mouffetard, where the market spills down the hill on weekends and the boulangerie queue tells you which one to pick. The Jardin des Plantes sits at the other end of le quartier.
It suits a family or a group of friends who want room to spread out without leaving the 5e. What they remember, usually, is the sauna — and coming back to it after Notre-Dame.
踏出门去，迎面而来的是坡度——rue Mouffetard 向下倾斜，面包房里黄油的香气已然飘散，一个学生骑手在湿滑的石板路上用力捏闸。八点整，水果摊贩开始在杂货铺外码放箱筐，街角咖啡馆擦净了露台，有人牵着一条小狗走过罗马遗址，神情如同路过一个公交站。
这里的灵魂所在是Le Verre à Pied——rue Mouffetard中段一家镶锌吧台的烟草小馆，墙纸自1960年代起从未更换。站在吧台前点一杯咖啡，一欧元二十分——这是市场摊贩歇早班的地方，整个街区的人都会在游客涌来之前从这里路过。

convenient location off of a low traffic street. there's a couple very private restaurants on the street and an art studio. around the less than 1 block away you will find, stores, Cafés and restaurants in pretty much any direction. Notre Dame is about a 6 minute walk, The Louvre 21 min walk, the subway 6 minute walk. The place is right out of a Scandinavian magazine. minimalist, clean designs in each area. Great use of space. with 5 adults and 4 children it worked out well.

We had a great stay. The apartment’s excellent central location made it easy to explore Paris, and the air conditioning was fantastic, even during the record high temperatures we had the misfortune of experiencing. The space worked well for our family and was comfortable overall. A few more basic supplies, such as dish soap, laundry detergent, and trash bags, would have made the stay even better.

The apartment was great. The location was perfrct, close enough to everything to be walkable but off the Main Street in a quaint neighborhood. We had 9 people that stayed here. For 9 there were enough beds and it was great having two bathrooms. It was a bit small to “hang out” in for 9 people but for us it worked very well. There were lots of extra special amenities like the espresso machine and little packets with sugar and cookies :) Great host. Highly recommend.
