Guy Môquet is the quiet cousin of Montmartre — one metro stop, a world less crowded. The Rue de la Jonquière market runs a few streets down, and the boulangeries here still queue out the door on Sunday mornings.

Made for a couple on a slow week in Paris. What stays with you is the neighbourhood itself: unpolished, unhurried, entirely its own.

走出门便是17区安静的一侧——宽阔的人行道，下午四点左右放学的孩子涌出校门，rue Guy Môquet上一家鱼贩的金属卷帘哗哗作响。Les Épinettes依然保持着村庄般的节奏：花店紧挨着一家葡萄牙杂货铺，avenue de Saint-Ouen上有一家老电影院，两门之隔的面包店从早上七点半就开始排队，只为那条pain des Épinettes。

这一带的核心是rue Lemercier上的marché des Batignolles，每周二和周六上午开市——规模比boulevard des Batignolles上那家有机集市小一些，却因此更有味道。不妨向尽头布列塔尼摊位要一只烤鸡；那里的équipe会把鸡和浸满肉汁的土豆一起打包，还没走回la maison，午饭便已妥妥在手。
