Rue Guy Môquet wakes up slowly — a baker pulling up his shutters, the smell of coffee from the corner café, and the sound of someone wheeling a cart toward the market.

The studio sits on the fourth floor, reached by lift. Twenty square metres, a sofa bed in the living area, a proper little kitchen with oven, microwave and kettle. Wine glasses in the cupboard, blackout curtains, self check-in whenever your train pulls in.

Walk five minutes to the marché des Moines for cheese, flowers and Tuesday-morning gossip. Montmartre is a quarter-hour on foot, uphill; Saint-Lazare is eight minutes on line 13.

It suits two people who want a quiet base in a real Parisian quartier — the kind where you start recognising the neighbours by day three, and the boulangère already knows your order.
