Third floor, quiet street. The window opens onto the everyday choreography of rue Guy Môquet — someone with a baguette, someone walking a small dog, the light shifting across the zinc rooftops.

Thirty-six square metres, arranged with intent. A separate bedroom behind a proper door, a sofa bed in the living room for the extra two, and a kitchen kitted out enough to actually cook in — oven, dishwasher, wine glasses waiting on the shelf.

The rue des Moines market is five minutes on foot: oysters on Saturday, a cheesemonger who knows his Comté, three bakeries competing for your morning. Montmartre sits just above, one metro stop or a slow uphill walk.

For a couple with friends visiting, or a small family passing through. What stays with you is the quartier itself — residential, unhurried, the Paris that isn't performing for anyone.
