Five hundred metres from the sea, on a quiet street where the late afternoon light turns the façades a soft apricot. You hear the city, but only just.
Inside, a single-level one-bedroom built around a jacuzzi — the kind of detail you book for, then use every night. Climatisation for the August heat, a proper kitchen with dishwasher and oven, a workspace by the window, wine glasses in the cupboard.
The beach is a fifteen-minute stroll down toward the Promenade. Closer to home, the Marché de la Libération sets up most mornings: oysters, socca, peaches, the unhurried rhythm of a Niçois quartier that hasn't been overrun.
For a couple, or two friends sharing the long weekend — pet welcome, code at the door, arrive when you arrive. What stays with you is the jacuzzi at midnight, windows open to the sound of the Mediterranean.

Communication with the agent was very good, his instructions were clear. The flat has been freshly refurbished with enough cooking tools as I like to cook when on holiday. The beach is only about 15 minutes walk and access to the tramway very easy. From Alsace Lorraine you can get to loads of places.
