The tram glides past Camille Godard every few minutes, and you're a hundred metres from the stop — close enough to hear it, far enough to forget it.
Three bedrooms open off a single level, all on the ground floor with self check-in via lockbox. A full kitchen handles group dinners; a separate parking space (a six-minute walk, in a secured residence) solves the Bordeaux car problem.
Les Chartrons wears its wine-merchant past well. Sunday mornings belong to the Marché des Chartrons along Quai des Chartrons — oysters, white wine, and the river a few steps away.
Built for eight — a family with a crib in tow, or two couples splitting the space. What stays with you is the quartier itself: quietly lived-in, never touristy.

We had a wonderful stay in Bordeaux and absolutely loved this place. It was easy to find, perfectly located with charming streets around, and within short walking distance to the city centre and lovely restaurants. The accommodation itself was beautiful and very comfortable. The only minor downside is that there is no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room which helped a lot. The host was fantastic – great communication throughout and always available if we had any questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lavie Maison . We were 8 so having the 2 showers was perfect . The description of the place was accurate. Location was amazing , a lovely area plus walking distance to most of our destinations. Our host Jacques was very responsive and friendly. We were also offered recommendations of the area and given clear instructions for everything . The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed . Very good value for money .

L'appartement est parfait en terme d'emplacement. On peut faire beaucoup de choses à pied et le tram n'est pas loin. Le seul bémol est le manque de fenêtres dans les chambres mais cela reste très bien pour un appartement de centre ville afin d'avoir un pied à terre. Le plus est le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture dans un parking sécurisé à proximité. Les instructions d'entrées étaient très claires également.
