Step onto the herringbone floor of a ground-floor apartment on a Marais side street, drop your bag, and the first thing you hear is the low bubble of the jacuzzi waiting in the bathroom.
Two bedrooms, air-conditioning, blackout curtains for the long summer evenings. The kitchen is properly kitted — dishwasher, oven, a real coffee machine — and the living room opens onto the street, so mornings arrive with the sound of Paris waking up.
You're a five-minute walk from Marché des Enfants Rouges, the covered market on rue de Bretagne where locals still queue for Moroccan tagines at lunchtime. The Musée Picasso and Place des Vosges sit just beyond.
Best for a couple travelling with friends, or a small family — the travel cot handles the youngest ones, and pets are welcome too. What stays with you: soaking in the tub after a full day of walking le Marais.
Step out and the rue des Archives pulls you north, past the falafel queues on rue des Rosiers and the shuttered ateliers that come alive around 10h. The pavement narrows, a delivery scooter squeezes past, and the smell from the corner boulangerie — still warm baguettes stacked in the window — settles the morning.
For coffee, walk to Boot Café on rue du Pont aux Choux: a former cobbler's shop, tiled facade still intact, four seats inside. Order the flat white and drink it on the step. It's the kind of place l'équipe sends guests to when they ask for somewhere small — the kind of address the quartier keeps quietly to itself.

Fabulous!! Positive: Before the trip startend I had contact with Lavie Maison. They are so friendly and take away all your sorrows by answering all my questions . The appartment is so cute and very clean. Bathroom with bath and shower, two gedroomd with great beds. More than enough towels, soap and shampoo. Everything you need to make a meal or breakfast is available in the appartement. Tea and coffee and even a bottel of wine in the refrigarator.

New, comfortable, & walking distance to shops, restaurants/bakeries, attractions, public transport Positive: Although it is a small apartment, it had all the necessities and was very comfortable. The apartment is renovated and has all new appliances and furniture. The beds were very comfortable, including the pull-out couch in the living room. Fast response from the host. We had some difficulty with the washer/dryer unit but found they provide helpful how-to videos for all the appliances.

Highly recommend this place! The room looked just like the photos on Airbnb. The location is great—just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to get into the city. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood. The room itself was quite new and very comfortable. One minor issue we had was with the key—unlocking the door was a bit difficult at first, but we could get over it.
