Morning light fills the living room through windows that open onto your own private terrace — a rare thing in Paris, rarer still with the Eiffel Tower a short walk away.
The apartment is compact but considered: a proper bedroom behind closed doors, a sofa bed for a third guest, air conditioning for August nights, and a kitchenette equipped for more than just coffee. The bathroom is modern, the proportions generous for 25 square metres.
Auteuil still feels like the village it once was — tree-lined streets, Art Deco façades, a morning market where the vendors know the regulars. The Bois de Boulogne is close enough for a run; the Trocadéro close enough for an evening aperitif with a view.
This one suits a couple wanting quiet after a day in the city, or a small family who'd rather wake to birdsong than boulevard traffic. The terrace, come sunset, is the thing you'll talk about later.
Step out and the 16e announces itself in Haussmannian limestone and quiet — wide pavements, a concierge sweeping at 8h, a Mercedes idling outside a notaire's office. The boulangerie on the corner does a proper baguette tradition, and the tabac across the way fills with men in good shoes reading Le Figaro before the school run. It's residential Paris, the kind that locals guard.
For lunch or a slow coffee, walk to rue de l'Annonciation in Passy — a market street that still feels like a village, with Boucherie Le Bourdonnec and a handful of cafés where the waiters know the regulars. Order the jambon-beurre and eat it on a bench above the Seine. That's the quartier in one afternoon.

We had a great stay at Lavie Maison in Paris! The location of the place was easy to find, it is surrounded by little boutiques, cafes and a supermarket which was very convenient. Close by to the bus stop which connected to the best spots in Paris. The area was very nice as it's close to city center, but far enough for a peaceful stay. The Airbnb itself was a lovely little place, there are 4 doors you have to get through to get in, which was tricky with our baby stroller.

Second stay here. This time close to two weeks. It’s perfect for 2 people. Good area. Very neighborhoody and not touristy. Plenty of shops, markets restaurants. It’s a well run property. They are very easy to communicate with. Good size clean modern bathroom. Comfortable bed, pillows etc. both rare in most Airbnbs. Good plenty of heating and I would assume good AC in summer. Only small negative nowhere to hang clothing. No closets drawers etc at all. Apart from that all super easy.
