Large bay windows facing the Cognacq-Jay Museum, and a quiet first-floor stillness that feels rare for this stretch of the Marais.
Two bedrooms, each with a double, and a sofa bed in the living room that sleeps two more. The kitchen is open and properly equipped. After a long walk, there's a jacuzzi bath waiting — the kind of detail you don't expect in 45m².
The Musée Carnavalet is around the corner. Place des Vosges, a five-minute drift. Wander rue de Bretagne for the Marché des Enfants Rouges — oysters, Moroccan plates, a glass of something cold at lunch.
This one suits a couple who wants space, a small family, or three friends sharing a long weekend. What stays with you: the light pouring in over breakfast, and the soak that ends every evening.
Step out and the rue is already awake in that quiet 3e way — the boulangerie two doors down pulling shutters at 7h, a Vespa parked half on the kerb, someone walking a small dog past the Picasso museum's stone wall. The streets are narrow enough that delivery vans reverse with theatrical patience, and by mid-morning the café terraces fill with the slow, deliberate breakfasts only the Marais seems to allow.
For le matin coffee, l'équipe send guests to Café Charlot on rue de Bretagne, opposite the Marché des Enfants Rouges. Order the noisette, sit outside even when it's cold, then cross into the marché — the oldest covered market in Paris, since 1615 — for Moroccan tagines at L'Estaminet or a glass of natural wine before the lunch rush settles in.

What a beautiful apartment. Amazing find! It was perfectly located for our first family trip to Paris. Felt very safe and quintessentially Parisian. If traveling in warm months, note that the AC is a single mini split in the entryway and there is no airflow to the bedrooms or bathroom. Sleeping wasn’t comfortable when it was 80f each day but beds were comfortable. Strangely no ventilation in the bathroom, but water pressure was great. Plenty of towels and great storage space.

We absolutely loved our time here. The location is outstanding! Beautiful, peaceful with lots of great shops and restaurants. Walkable to almost everything you would like to see. Jacques was extremely responsive and helpful from check in, luggage storage, and any issue or question we had. Outstanding! This was our first AirBnB experience and it leaves a high bar for others to match. My only small disappointment was that the listing stated 1.5 bathrooms and there was only one.
