Rue Saint-Dominique on a Sunday morning: bakery queues, the dome of Les Invalides catching the light at the end of the street.
Thirty-five square meters, thought through. Air conditioning for July, a proper equipped kitchen for the nights you'd rather stay in, self check-in whenever your train pulls in. Small pets welcome, if you mention them first.
The Gros-Caillou stretch is Paris at its most lived-in — the rue Cler market a few blocks away, cheesemongers and flower stalls, the Eiffel Tower appearing between rooftops when you least expect it.
Made for two: a couple on a first Paris trip, or returning regulars who want the 7e without the hotel lobby. You'll remember the walk home along Saint-Dominique after dinner.
Step out and the rue Cler is already awake — the fishmonger hosing down the pavement, the flower stall unfolding buckets of ranunculus, an older couple debating peaches at Davoli. Cross rue de Grenelle and the gold dome of the Invalides floats above the rooftops. The quartier keeps its voice down; deliveries, school bells, the occasional clip of heels on Haussmannian stone.
For coffee, Café Central at the corner of Cler and Grenelle — sit outside with a noisette and watch le marché run its slow choreography until 13h. It's the sort of place where the waiter remembers your order by day three, which is really the point of staying in the 7e rather than visiting it.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a month. Despite a few issues with initial cleaning before our arrival and loss of WiFi half way through our stay, we were incredibly happy with the apartment and location. Apt actually felt bigger than what I expected from the pics. They did an amazing job with recent renovation! Modern but warm ambiance. Outstanding use of the space with a ton of hidden storage.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. The location is amazing—just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. As soon as you step outside, you can see the Eiffel Tower, and it’s absolutely beautiful. The apartment is new, nicely decorated, and has lots of storage space. It was also very clean and quiet, tucked away from the main street. At first, a few things were missing, but the hosts quickly got them for me when I asked.

Amazing location- when you come out of the front door you see the Eiffel Tower straight away! There are so many restaurants / bakeries on the street & everything you need also- pharmacy/ vets / supermarket / Starbucks etc. We brought our dog & so having the vets on the same road was very reassuring. The vets were great with helping us with our pet health certificate for our journey home to the UK also. Really great & homely apartment with a great responsive host.
