About this apartment

The jacuzzi is the surprise — tucked into twelve square metres, steaming quietly while you scroll through dinner options.

The studio sits at ground level, compact and considered. A kitchenette handles morning coffee, the sofa unfolds into a proper bed, and the air conditioning earns its keep in July.

Grosso is the calmer edge of central Nice — residential streets, the tram a short walk east, and Rue de France leading you down toward the Promenade des Anglais and the sea.

It suits a couple travelling light, or a solo wanderer who wants a hot soak after a long day between the Vieille Ville and the pebbles. You'll remember the jacuzzi.

About Grosso

Step out and Grosso feels residential in the Niçois way — pale ochre façades, plane trees down avenue Auguste Raynaud, an old lady walking a small dog past the boulangerie before the sun clears the rooftops. The tramway hums a few streets over on Libération, and by 8h the tabac on the corner is already pouring espressos to men reading Nice-Matin standing up.

The anchor here is the marché de la Libération, three minutes on foot — Nice's real market, not the tourist one on Cours Saleya. Come Tuesday to Sunday morning for socca straight off Chez Pipo's copper plate, a wedge of Tomme de brebis, and the kind of tomatoes that ruin you for supermarket ones back home.

Бюджетный классный вариант для недлительного пребывания. Positive: Пять минут море, супермаркет, трамвай. Все есть для жизни. Negative: Реальность слегка разнится с фотографиями на сайте. Было плохо убрано после последних жильцов с собакой. Диван пах ею же и все было в шерсти. Так же совершенно неудобно с разложенным диваном — нужно было переползать его или каждый раз складывать. Вся безопасность — в тонкой двери и тонких окнах прямо на первом этаже.

Overall wonderful stay and the staff were very helpful! Positive: The cleanliness and layout is perfect for a solo traveller. Location is amazing as it’s so close to the beach! Staff were amazing in assisting any issues. Negative: The shower is a little bit inconvenient to use and the curtains are a slightly too small. They don’t cover the window completely which means you can see the traffic lights flashing all night.
