The sauna door clicks shut and the cedar smell hits you before the heat does. Outside, the Mediterranean is three minutes down the road.
Two bedrooms open off a single ground-floor level, with a private entrance straight from the street. The bathroom is the showpiece — jacuzzi, sauna, a proper soak after a day on the galets.
You're a short walk from the Promenade des Anglais, and closer still to the morning bustle at Marché de la Libération, where the socca is better than anywhere on Cours Saleya.
It sleeps six, takes a dog, and works for a family or two couples splitting a long weekend. What stays with you is the strange luxury of a sauna in a beach town — and using it.
Step out and the light does the work first — that Niçois glare bouncing off ochre façades, the smell of socca cooking somewhere on a plancha, scooters threading between palm trees. The sea is a few blocks down, close enough that you check the weather by the colour of the water rather than your phone.
Cours Saleya is the anchor — flower market until 13h30, antiques on Mondays, and the line at Thérésa's socca stand that moves faster than it looks. Order a portion with extra pepper, eat it standing, walk it off along the Promenade. L'équipe will tell you to go early; by noon le marché is shoulder to shoulder and the good tomatoes are gone.

Everything was perfect. Check- in was easy as the instructions were very clear. We were able to find the house very easily because it had a big and clear golden ‘D’ on the door. I was able to put in the code that was provided a day before my trip and gain access to the keys from the lock. The place was very clean and looked exactly like the photos and as it was described. In terms of location, everywhere was in a walking distance as it was close to the city centre and sea.

Apartament petit però amb tot l'equipament necessari. Tot i que és un baix poc ventilat i hi fa calor, disposa d'aire acondicionat i ventiladors que fan l'ambient agradable. Molta humitat al lavabo i feia olor a claveguera, havies de tenir la porta del lavabo sempre tancada. tot i això, apartament molt net, cuina i lavabo impeclaables, disposa de rentaplats, cafetera de càpsules i estris de cuina necessaris. Llits i sofà llit bastant còmodes, coixins millorables.

Da migliorare Positive: La vicinanza a tutto Negative: La struttura era poco curata. Eravamo in 5 e avevamo solo 2 rotoli di carta igienica per 3 giorni, niente sapone( bottiglie vuote) . Solo un asciugamano per la faccia e le asciugamani/accappatoio. Sotto il divano calzini sporchi non so di chi. La casa era un po’ fredda , c’era riscaldamento in bagno e niente nelle camere. Nella sala/cucina un condizionatore che dava aria calda di lato e fredda sopra.
