Push open the door at the back of a quiet cobbled courtyard. The noise of rue Saint-Antoine falls away, and what's left is an old artist's atelier, reworked for sleeping in.
The living room opens wide and bright, with a dining table built for long dinners and a kitchen that actually cooks. Two bedrooms — a double suite, and a bunk room that sleeps three — fold a family of seven into a single level. Self check-in, so arrive whenever the train lands.
The Marais is yours on foot. Place des Vosges in five minutes, the falafel queues of rue des Rosiers just past it, Marché Bastille on Thursday and Sunday mornings for oysters and Comté.
It suits a family, or two couples sharing. What stays with you is the cour — that small Parisian trick of stepping off the street and into quiet.
Step out and you're on the small grid between rue des Rosiers and rue Vieille-du-Temple, where the falafel queues form by noon and the Hasidic bakers carry trays across the pavement before opening. The Monoprix on rue Saint-Antoine takes care of evening basics; the rest is bookshops, ceramicists, and the kind of galleries that don't post their hours.
Make L'As du Fallafel the easy lunch and Café Charlot the slow morning — but the real anchor is Marché des Enfants Rouges, two streets north on rue de Bretagne. Paris's oldest covered market, running since 1615. Go for the Moroccan stall, sit at the shared tables, order the tagine and a glass of rosé before the Saturday crowd lands at 13h.

Excelente. A localização é impecável.

Good location but some major issues. Positive: Good location for central Paris and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Also the support service (by phone) by the Lavie Maison team was attentive, but ultimately didn’t really solve the problems. The apartment was very clean with nice towels & bedding. There was an en-suite shower for each bedroom. Negative: The apartment is the ground floor of a large stone courtyard building, so there is limited natural daylight.
