The first thing you notice is the steam — a private sauna and a hot tub tucked behind the bathroom door, in an apartment barely larger than forty square metres.
Two bedrooms, both with proper doubles and built-in storage. A sofa bed in the salon for a third pair. Air conditioning throughout, a kitchen that actually cooks, and a wall of quiet once you close the shutters against the street.
You're a few minutes from Rue Cler, the pedestrian market street where the cheesemonger still wraps your Comté in waxed paper and the café terraces fill by ten. The Champ-de-Mars sits just beyond.
It suits six — two couples and friends, or a small family with a baby in the crib. What stays with you is the ritual: long day out, hot tub, glass of something cold, bed.
Step out the door and the 7e announces itself quietly — Haussmannian façades the colour of butter, a tabac on the corner doing a brisk morning trade in Le Monde and carnets de tickets, the smell of warm baguette drifting from a boulangerie three doors down. The pavements are wide, the scooters fewer, and somewhere down the rue someone is watering geraniums from a second-floor balcony.
The marché on rue Cler is the anchor here — a pedestrianised stretch where Davoli sells truffle pasta and the fromager will let you taste the Comté before you commit. Go in the matin, before ten, when the produce stalls are still being arranged and the café terraces at Petit Cler are filling with locals on their second espresso.

It’s a great place to stay it’s close to most of the attractions by walking. Easy to find and host is very friendly. The place is clean and private. While the rooms are cosy, would need to use the living room area to open/store your suitcases. Suitable for families rather than 2 couples. The living area is nice to spend time with your families after a long day. One of the best things is the jacuzzi and sauna after a long visiting day outside. Great restaurants and cafes around.

We really enjoyed our stay the apartment had almost everything we needed and was well-equipped with the essentials. Pros: • Great location • Responsive and helpful host • Friendly, safe, and quiet neighborhood • Plenty of towels and a spacious bathroom • The jacuzzi was a nice touch — very relaxing • Grocery store and an excellent bakery nearby Cons: • The apartment is quite small; it comfortably fits four people, but six would be a tight squeeze • The hallway leading to the apartme…

I’m so torn in reviewing this apartment because selfishly we want to keep this hidden gem a secret! We absolutely loved our stay here, from the beautifully renovated kitchen to the incredible bathroom with jet tub and sauna. The location is my personal favorite in Paris - nice and quiet, away from the crowds, but walking distance to all the central attractions of the city.
