Light filters through opaque-glass windows onto the parquet, muffling the morning rhythm of rue-side Paris while you decide between coffee and the sauna.
Three bedrooms spread across 45 square metres of considered design — air conditioning for August, a fully equipped kitchen for market hauls, and that private sauna tucked into the bathroom for the end of long walking days. The living room sofa unfolds for a ninth guest when the group expands.
Step outside and you're in the cinquième, where the Rue Mouffetard market spills onto the pavement most mornings and the café terraces along Place de la Contrescarpe fill by noon.
This one works for friends who want to cook together, decompress together, and still be five minutes from the Seine. The sauna at midnight, after everyone else has gone to bed — that's the detail you'll talk about later.
Step outside and the rue Mouffetard pulls you downhill — fishmongers setting up crates of ice, the smell of roast chicken from the rotisserie near Saint-Médard, students from Censier cutting through with paperbacks under their arms. Mornings are loud with shutters going up; afternoons settle into the slow rhythm of the Latin Quarter's oldest market street.
For coffee, walk five minutes to Strada Café on rue Monge — a small flat white, taken standing at the zinc, before the place Monge marché opens on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Ask for a Brie de Meaux from the cheese stall; the vendor will tell you exactly when to eat it.

convenient location off of a low traffic street. there's a couple very private restaurants on the street and an art studio. around the less than 1 block away you will find, stores, Cafés and restaurants in pretty much any direction. Notre Dame is about a 6 minute walk, The Louvre 21 min walk, the subway 6 minute walk. The place is right out of a Scandinavian magazine. minimalist, clean designs in each area. Great use of space. with 5 adults and 4 children it worked out well.

The apartment was great. The location was perfrct, close enough to everything to be walkable but off the Main Street in a quaint neighborhood. We had 9 people that stayed here. For 9 there were enough beds and it was great having two bathrooms. It was a bit small to “hang out” in for 9 people but for us it worked very well. There were lots of extra special amenities like the espresso machine and little packets with sugar and cookies :) Great host. Highly recommend.

Can’t beat the location. It’s steps away from the Seine, trendy restaurants, and a small market. And it’s a short stroll from the Maubert open market, coffee and bakeries, and the Maubert metro, which connects you to everything. So many of our days ended with a walk along the Seine past the Notre Dame, or through the small winding streets of the Latin Quarter in search of a crepe.
