A Nespresso on the counter, morning light through the window, and the soft clatter of Rue Guy Môquet waking up below. The 17e at its quietest hour.
Thirty-eight square metres arranged with intent: a queen bed, a sofa that opens for two more, and a kitchen that actually cooks. Self check-in means you arrive on your own clock — keys in the box, Wi-Fi already humming.
Step outside and the rue des Moines market is a five-minute walk: oysters, cheese, the boulangerie locals queue for on Sundays. Métro Guy Môquet drops you in Montmartre in four stops.
This one suits a couple who wants a real quartier, or four friends willing to share a long weekend. What stays with you is the neighbourhood itself — unpolished, unhurried, entirely Parisian.
Step out and the 17e shows its working face first: the tabac at the corner of rue de Lévis already open, a queue forming at the boulangerie for the morning baguette, schoolchildren cutting through Square des Batignolles with their cartables. The Haussmannian façades soften here — wider sky, fewer tourists, more dogs.
Le matin, head for the Marché des Batignolles on boulevard de Batignolles (Saturday and Sunday, organic, the real thing). Get the rotisserie chicken from the stand near the entrance, a bottle from the natural-wine seller two stalls down, and eat it back on the terrace. That's the weekend, sorted.

We booked this place especially for AC & Elevator, coming with a 6-month-old baby, a stroller, in the summer in Paris. AC and Elevator broke multiple times during our stay, so i believe we clearly overpaid for that spot. And also, a bit unsafe to have strangers entering the apartment because they also have the code of the door, while booking another one... in the middle of the night! First time in 10y i leave a negative review.
