The jacuzzi tucked into one of the bathrooms is the first thing you'll clock — a small, unexpected indulgence at the end of a long walking day.
Above ground, a living room opens to the street with a wall-mounted TV and a sofa that pulls out for two more. Below, three bedrooms sit quiet and cool, each with its own climate control and one with an en-suite shower.
Rue de Bretagne is a short wander away — the Marché des Enfants Rouges for Moroccan tagines at lunch, wine bars for the hours after. Vintage shops and the Musée Picasso fill the streets between.
It suits a group of eight — two families sharing, or old friends reuniting for a long weekend. What they'll remember is the hot tub, and the fact that nobody had to fight over the bathroom.
Step out and the rue de Bretagne unfurls in front of you — narrow, stone-paved, still half-asleep at 8h when the florist is hosing down the pavement and the boulangerie on the corner is pulling the first fournée out of the oven. Two men in aprons argue outside the fromagerie. A scooter threads past a woman with a baguette under one arm.
Walk five minutes and you're inside the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the oldest covered market in Paris, running since 1615. Skip the Italian queue and go to Chez Alain Miam Miam for a galette with comté, aged ham and rocket — he folds it in front of you, slowly, and tells you exactly why the bread matters.

This stay was almost perfect in every category. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the host is extremely detail-oriented and genuinely cares about the guest experience. The space was spotless — not just surface clean, but truly well-maintained.

This was the best Airbnb we've had in Paris. It is in a lively yet peaceful part of the Marais (the interior courtyard makes it a quiet stay) and easy access on foot and by multiple metro stops (Arts et Metiers, Temple, Very close to Place des Vosges, the Musée Picasso, all the restaurants and shops of the Marais, and about a 25 minute walk from the Latin Quarter, Nôtre Dame, Hotel de Ville, the Seine, etc.

Excellent Stay at LaVie Maison We had an excellent stay at LaVie Maison with our group of six! The home was modern, beautifully clean, comfortable, and well suited for a larger group. The homeowner was extremely attentive to our needs and communication was always prompt and easy, with excellent English. The location was another highlight. It was easy to get an Uber to the main sightseeing attractions, while still giving us a wonderful neighborhood feel.
